Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Flint Michigan!

Kiwanis Club of Flint Michigan chartered on April 20, 1917



Mark your calendars and be sure to attend a special Flint Kiwanis program featuring  Dr. Mona Hannah-Atisha and Dr. Pat Naswell who will discuss: Hurley's Response to Flint's Water Crisis on Thursday, September 29th.

This is an excellent program to invite a guest to. Since we are expecting a large turnout, please be sure to notify Gary Smith ( no later than Noon on Tuesday, September 27th including the number of guests you plan on bringing. Lunch needs to be ordered in advance at $10.


September Student Scholar Athletes Announced!

Congratulations to our September Scholar/Athletes of the month Alia Frederick From Linden HS and Noah Jacobs from Corunna HS. Both athletes are outstanding distance runners: After receiving their Kiwanis honors last Thursday, they again excelled the next day at the Spartan Invitational at Forrest Acres Golf Course in East Lansing.

Alia finished 5th in the 5000 meter women's Division 2 & 3 event with a time of 19:33 and Noah ran in the Spartan Elite 5000 men's meter race and finished as the medalist with a time of 15:13

In order to successfully sustain this level of volunteer service, the Kiwanis Club of Flint holds two major fundraising initiatives each year: gourmet nut sales in the fall and through sponsorships and advertising sales in the student athlete of the year program book.

Flint Kiwanis Receives Recognition for Website

The Kiwanis Club of Flint has received the 2013 Portalbuzz Showcase Club Award from Club Resource Inc. for its website. This special recognition is given to clubs that maintain a level of excellence in their online public awareness efforts via an exemplary club website using the Portalbuzz Club Management System by Club Resource Inc. Clubs must meet or exceed eight out of ten criteria, including design, branding, content and images.
